This Chrome extension, Page Insights, does not collect, store, transmit, or sell any personal information.
1. Information the Extension Accesses
The extension reads only the following
SEO metadata available publicly on the webpage
Page title
Meta description
Canonical URL
Robots tag
H1, H2, H3 headings
Google Analytics 4 & Google Search Console data
If the user connects their Google Account through OAuth:
The extension fetches analytics for the current URL using the user’s own GA4/GSC permissions.
OAuth tokens are handled securely by Chrome and are not stored, not logged, and not sent to any external server.
The developer does not receive, store, process, or transmit any GA4 or GSC data.
2. Data Collection
The extension:
❌ Does not collect personal data
❌ Does not collect browsing history
❌ Does not collect website content
❌ Does not use cookies or tracking
❌ Does not send any information off the device
No data ever leaves the user’s browser.
3. Third-Party Sharing
The extension does not share any information with third parties and does not sell user data.
4. Purpose of Access
The only purpose of accessing SEO metadata and GA4/GSC metrics is to display those insights directly to the user inside the extension popup.
The extension has one single purpose: Provide SEO insights and analytics for the page the user is viewing.
