Privacy Policy — Instagram Insights Dashboard

Insight Dashboard is operated by Keyan Enayati (info@keyanenayati.com).
1. Overview
This privacy policy explains how the Insight Dashboard application handles data accessed through the Instagram Graph API (Meta Platform). This app is a read-only analytics dashboard designed for Instagram Business account owners to view their own performance data.
2. Data We Access
When you connect your Instagram Business account, we access the following data:
- Basic account information (username, profile picture, follower count)
- Media posts and stories (content, captions, timestamps)
- Insights and performance metrics (impressions, reach, likes, comments, shares, saves)
- Audience demographics (age, gender, location — where available)
3. How We Use This Data
Data from your Instagram account is used only to:
- Display your analytics and performance metrics within your dashboard
- Generate charts, graphs, and reports visible only to you
We do not:
- Sell or share your Instagram data with any third party
- Use your data for advertising purposes
- Store your content or metrics after your session ends
- Access your Instagram Direct Messages
4. Data Storage and Retention
We do not store any Instagram data on our servers. All data is fetched in real time during your session and is not retained after you log out or close the dashboard.
Authentication tokens are stored temporarily in your browser and are cleared automatically when your session ends.
5. Meta Platform Policy Compliance
This application complies with Meta’s Platform Terms and Developer Policies:
- Only minimal permissions required for read-only analytics are requested
- No Instagram data is transferred to third parties
- No user profiling or data enrichment is performed
- Data is used strictly to provide analytics to the account owner

7. Your Rights and Control
You can revoke access at any time by:
- Logging out of the dashboard
- Going to Instagram → Settings → Security → Apps and Websites and removing Insight Dashboard
