Terms of Service — Page Insight

These Terms govern your use of the Page Insight Chrome extension (“Page Insight”, “the extension”), developed by Keyan Enayati (“the developer”). By installing or using Page Insight, you agree to these Terms.

1. What Page Insight Does

Page Insight is a browser extension that displays Google Analytics 4 metrics, Google Search Console metrics, and on-page technical SEO information for the web page currently open in your browser, once you connect your Google Account.

2. Eligibility and Account Access

To use GA4 and Search Console features, you must connect a Google Account that has access to the relevant GA4 property and/or Search Console property. Page Insight only displays data for properties you are already authorised to view — it does not grant you access to any new property, account, or data you don’t already have permission for.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use Page Insight to access accounts or data you are not authorised to view
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or interfere with the extension’s normal operation
• Use Page Insight for any unlawful purpose or in violation of Google’s Terms of Service or API policies

4. Data and Privacy

Page Insight’s handling of your data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. In short: Page Insight only reads data, does not store your analytics data on any server, and does not share it with third parties.

5. No Warranty

Page Insight is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. The developer does not guarantee that the extension will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the data displayed will always exactly match the corresponding Google dashboard, since figures can vary by processing time, sampling, or API limits.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, Page Insight, including any decisions made based on data displayed by the extension.

7. Changes to the Service or Terms

The developer may update Page Insight or these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the extension after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

8. Termination

You may stop using Page Insight at any time by uninstalling it and revoking its access via Google Account permissions. The developer may also discontinue the extension or your access to it at any time.
