At Aston University, I built individual dashboards for colleagues so they could see how their pages were performing, day to day. Each one worked, but each one also needed me to build it.
So I built something bigger: the Marketing Hub Dashboard. One login, real-time data, across every channel that actually matters — GA4, Search Console, Google Ads, and Instagram.
Google Analytics (GA4)
Every page and channel in one view: active users, sessions, bounce rate, conversions, device breakdown, and which countries your traffic comes from.

Search Console
Keyword rankings split by short-tail and long-tail terms, so you can see which searches actually bring in clicks and where you rank for them.

Google Ads
Campaign and audience performance side by side — who is converting, what it costs, and where your ad spend is actually working.

Posts, reels and stories compared directly, plus engagement and your top-performing content, so you know what to post more of.

How it is built
The frontend is React and TypeScript. A Node/Express backend queries each platform’s API directly and combines the results in real time, instead of relying on scheduled exports like most reporting tools. You connect your own Google and Instagram accounts through OAuth, so no login details are ever stored on the platform.
Results
- Replaces four separate logins (GA4, Search Console, Google Ads, Instagram) with one dashboard
- Real-time data instead of scheduled reports or exports
- Can be adjusted to show whatever a specific business needs to track
What I learned
The hard part was not any single chart, it was building the backend generically enough that the same dashboard could work for a completely different business without rebuilding it each time.
